This community thrives because Temple Shalom is a clear-cut reflection of what we value. We value our rabbis and cantor, who lead us through services and moments of pastoral need. We value our school and educational programming, sustaining the future of the Jewish people. We value our commitment to social justice and tikkun olam (repair of the world) and positive change. And we value the fun, the purpose, and the connection of our community—our extended Jewish family.
Sustaining these values at Temple Shalom depends on all of us. Every year, our membership renewal demonstrates how important this community is to each of us, and our commitment to take ownership over our future. Our dues pledge is a statement that we know a Jewish community such as ours depends on each of our members; that the continued existence of our community has value not just for us, but for everyone else as well.
