Vaccine and Booster Requirements to Attend In-Person Activities

Dear Temple Shalom Families and Friends,

As of January 9, 2022, any person (age 5+) attending in-person Temple activities is required to be fully vaccinated, and to have a booster, if eligible. This requirement applies to all Temple members, staff, and visitors.  Booster eligibility is based on current CDC guidelines – as of today, that means those age 16+ who received their primary vaccinations at least 6 months ago (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) or 2 months ago (J&J’s Janssen).  Persons newly eligible to receive a booster will have a two-week grace period to get one.

Given the increase in coronavirus cases including from the Omicron variant, we strongly encourage all individuals to obtain a booster as soon as they are eligible. As noted above, as of January 9, 2022, any person (age 5+) attending in-person Temple activities is required to be fully vaccinated, and to have a booster, if eligible.  To make vaccination and boosters more widely available to anyone who is eligible, Temple Shalom is hosting another vaccine clinic on Sunday, January 9, 2022. You can sign up for a slot at the clinic here.

L’Shalom (In Peace),

Jeff Steger, President

Karen Miller, V.P. and Chair, Advisory Committee on Continuing Operations
