Tikkun Olam Toiletry Drive For SOME October 15 – 29

We will be collecting the following items: deodorant, lotion, pads/tampons, disposable razors, shampoo, shaving cream, liquid soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste.  Full size items are preferred, but SOME will also take travel sizes.  

Collection bins will be available at the Welcome Table on the following Friday Erev Shabbat services: October 15, 22 and 29.  

Bins will also be available Weekdays during day time hours (October 18-22 and 25-29) outside the Administrative Office doors and on Sunday mornings during Religious School, October 17 & 24.

So Others Might Eat is a nonprofit organization which seeks to help deal with poverty in Washington, DC. SOME provides food, clothing, and healthcare services to the poor and homeless. In addition, SOME provides job training, counseling, and low-cost housing, and other services to “break the cycle of homelessness.
