I have a couple of reminders about upcoming events that I wanted to bring to your attention. First, this weekend is Yom Kippur which also means that its our Manna Food drive. TaSTY is very excited about the event and we hope that everyone will bring food to donate. For suggestions on food to donate and other information about the drive please see the flyer that is attached to this email. Additionally, we are still in need of volunteers to help "run" the truck throughout the day. The link to the sign-up sheet can be found here ( https://docs.google.com/
Additionally our TaSTY Social Action Vice President for this year, Abby Landesman, created a survey to find out which social action topics/issues TaSTY should focus on this upcoming year. Every topic is important however we would like to focus our efforts towards a couple for the upcoming year. If each household could have their students that are involved in TaSTY (both older and younger youth groups are invited to share their opinion) take this survey it would be greatly appreciated. The link can be found here ( https://www.surveymonkey.
Last, but certainly not least, TaSTY will be hosting its annual Sleepover in the Sukkah in a couple weeks on October 6th and 7th. This event is open to all 9th through 12th graders. We will be hanging out, playing games, eating good food and of course sleeping in the Temple's Sukkah. As a reminder, the event costs $5 for members and $10 for non-members. If you would like to come, please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by this Sunday, October 1st. The flyer can be found attached to this email as well.
As always, if anyone has any questions, concerns or would like to discuss anything with me please do not hesitate to reach out.
