MITZVAH CORPS: Part I With Betsy Kingery
As we age many of us find ourselves managing various illnesses of our own or of aging loved ones. Temple Shalom member Betsy Kingery, a retired nurse, will teach about how to manage your medical care including tips for making the most of your appointments, communicating with your medical team, medical decision making and more. This will be an interactive discussion. Questions welcome!
LOCATION: Social Hall

Block 2 (10:30-11:15)

Today’s world is filled with hustle and bustle and very little time for taking a deep breath and unwinding from the stresses of the day. Healing from the inside out begins with contemplation and the intention for renewal of spiritand wholeness. Join Rabbinic Pastor/Cantor Lisa for a healing practice filled with music, guided meditation, sacred chant and time to quiet your mind, open your heart and renew your spirit.

MITZVAH CORPS: Part II With Betsy Kingery
Temple Shalom has a long-standing system in place to support those in our community in need. There are times when we will be the providers of care and times when we will be the recipient. Come learn about Temple Shalom’s Mitzvah Corps, what it does, and how you can get involved. We’ll do this while cooking up tasty dinners for congregants in need. No cooking experience necessary!
