One-Day Tallit Making Workshop Sunday, March 3 2:00 to 6:00 PM design & sew your own tallit!

Join us in learning how to make a tallit! As you can see from the Confirmation and Graduation photos in the downstairs hallway, many Temple Shalom students have made their own beautiful tallitot over the years.
This workshop is especially geared for an adult/b’nai mitzvah student team, but adults on their own are welcome, too! Perhaps you have always wanted to make and wear a tallit: here is your chance!
To sign up email Sarah Leavitt
Please note
You can be a sewing beginner, but will need to bring your own (or borrowed) sewing machine that you know how to use
You will need to purchase materials prior to workshop (list of supplies provided). Once we know who is coming we could try to all meet at the fabric store.
We will get a lot done in the one-day workshop, but you will need to work on your project from home as well! I’m available for consultation, of course.
A donation to Temple Shalom in support of the workshop is greatly appreciated
It’s a long afternoon—can’t come the whole time? That’s fine! Come when you can. We’ll take breaks and have snacks.
