Shepherd’s Table’s mission is to provide help to people who are homeless or in need by providing basic services, including meals, social services, clothing, medical support, and other assistance in an effective and compassionate manner.
Temple Shalom's Tikkun Olam Committee sponsors our involvement in helping this wonderful organization by providing at least five (5) volunteers to participate in assisting with meal services on the first Monday of every month! Sessions are from 5:30-8:00 pm and are open to anyone 13 years and over.
SSL Hours are available for students in grades 6-12!
Duties include assisting the chef with meal preparations, setting the dining room up, greeting guests, serving the meal, washing dishes and helping to clean the kitchen and dining areas after the meal. Sign up once or as many times as you like, bring your friends, your children 13 and older, but sign up!
